No refund on Deposit

Rus 'n Bietjie Oord... well WHAT AN EXPERIENCE!!! Based on "their Website" we decided to make a booking to go camping only to find out when we arrived that it is only a mislead of what their site is showing!! We have paid our deposit and on arrival we paid the balance. Arriving at Reception, it was shocking, no Dairy or system which they are working from. Entering the premises we were shocked, only to see the rusted "Tin Shacks" which is meant to be the toilets, premises were so disgustingly filthy, grass not even cut neatly with one Bathroom facility to accommodate everyone in the camp, which is more than about 500m away from our site which had people. We have refused to unpack and we made contact with Reception, informing them that we are not staying under these circumstances and we are requesting our money back. Arriving back at Reception, we were not the only ones requesting our money back, another couple with a caravan from Boksburg felt the same and wanted their money back as well. The owner PHILIP MALAN refuse to refund our money for his "excuse" is "we did not cancel". To all out there be warned, DO NOT BOOK AND CAMP at "RUS 'n BIETJIE OORD", for THEIR WEBSITE is a LIE!
