Protea Hotels

I was booked in from 28th Dec-2nd Jan. When we arrived I unpacked all my luggage and my bag with 6 pairs of shoes (3 x pairs brand new that I bought at Gateway) I remember putting under the table with the hairdryer to put it out of the way. I wore a pair of takkies from the bag on the 1st evening for a stroll and after that only wore 1 pair of sandals the rest of the stay. When we were packing to leave the night before I wanted to take out my takkies for the trip home and the bag was missing. We reported it to the reception and they promised that they would investigate the next morning 1st thing as the person in charge of housekeeping was not in. We left all out info as we had to leave at 5am the next morning for the 1000km trip home. I have phone twice already and after holding on forever I get told the lady is not available and then get promised a phone call, but to this day I have not heard a thing. I am very upset as I feel that it is my bag that someone and they should at least phone me back with some sort of explanation, but they have just ignored this matter. I have never been to an Hotel where something of mine has been and it leaves a bitter taste in my mouth
