We Hired Sarita September this year to do our wedding cake for the 14th of December. All went well up until the week before the wedding. Sarita was M.I.A, endless phone calls, emails, messages and there was no response. We thought we had been and went on the hunt for a new supplier. finally on Thursday the 12th at 5 pm after my mother-in-law tracked her down through a hotel who had used her, i received a missed call. After phoning her back her excuse was 'phone was ' - however, she could have emailed or used her 'book' to get hold of us, but no attempt at that.
To make matters worse - on the day of the wedding we could not get hold of her again, her phone was off - my family was frantically trying to get into contact with her, i had by this point given up and thought she was not coming. Eventually at around 1:30 (the wedding at 3) she pitched up. Nonchalant and no excuses.
To summarize - as a client you would like to know what is going on at all times, aspecially when it comes to a lady's wedding, Sarita should have been in contact the week before and on the day of the wedding assured us she would deliver the cake - not turn her phone off. Shocking & stressful
