Handed over without due notice

After leaving the medical aid, an amount of R1500 was owed due to some special calculations on my savings account after leaving the scheme within a 12month period. The communication attempts were as follows: 1 phone call on 11 July 2013 to my cell phone which went to voicemail. Allegedly an sms on 13 August 2013 (knows what the sms stated) a phone call to my estranged wife, and allegedly a letter to an address in a city in which I no longer lived. No email and no follow up phone call. The last attempt to contact me was 13 August 2013. I now receive an sms stating I am handed over on 11 December 2013. That is 90 days without follow up communication!! Is this reasonable?? I think not. I have never been handed over in respect of any amount ever!! This is absolute BS on the part of Discovery and as a result I shall remove myself as a member hereafter.
