7 MONTHS, AND STILL NOT REFUNDED FOR CLAIMS PAID!

My GP referred me for a mammogram at Lake Smit Westville. Westville then referred me to Just for Woman at Parklands for a Biopsy. The biopsy was performed by Dr Conrad at Lake Smit and the sample sent to Dr Buisson (Ampath) for testing. Discovery advised that if my diagnosis was found to be cancerous, they would cover all the costs of the diagnosis. It is now 7 months, and I am still without refund. Discovery has found every excuse in the book to stall the payment. Such excuses, the invoice needs the cancer code (but the sample had only been taken, not yet tested so didn't have a cancer code yet). So we get that amended. Then they say I didn't have an oncology benefit. So I register for that. Then they say my treatment was before my oncology benefit kicked in. I explain you cannot register until you got a diagnosis. Discovery say they need the referring doctors name. Just for Woman passed the sample for testing, but Discovery say they need the GP. So now GP has to fill in forms, and re-submit, all of which Discovery never returns calls, nor advises reason for non-payment. Poor GP didn't do the referral after the biopsy, but Discovery says he has to be the referrer-delay tactics!
