Oblivion Wine Bar And Restaurant
Oblivious to Hygiene

Health & Medicine

I was shocked last night when visiting what I thought was quite a classy place. After ordering dinner and drinks at Oblivion, my friend noticed a cockroach on the wall. Thinking that this could happen to anybody, I got up and quietly notified the waiter, asking her to inform the manager and get rid of it, without making a scene. The waiter got the manager, showed her the cockroach and then both of them disappeared... FOR GOOD! After a while we moved to a different table, away from the cockroach. Eventually my friend got up and killed the vermin, but the dead cockroach is probably still laying there as I'm writing this. Anyway, perturbed by the fact that everybody from Oblivion was acting as if nothing just happened, we finished our meal. Just before I was about to ask for the bill, I noticed yet ANOTHER COCKROACH running on the floor, at which point I got up and informed the staff and manager who was shown the cockroach earlier that I wasn't paying for dinner. We left. I can't come to any other conclusion besides maybe that it's normal for cockroaches to be running around there. I thought "one is a mistake, it can happen to anybody". But the second one points to a bigger problem...
