DIRECTED TOWARDS MAMELODI FOR DRINKS

My wife and I took a weekend off after working 7 days week for 3 months. I found Mooiplaatsie on the internet and judging by the photos it seemed like very nice place. There was only photos of inside the rooms which should have triggered my thoughts as we realized the reasons for this when we got there. On the way from Johannesburg - in Friday traffic - the receptionist phoned me wanting to know how far we are which made it seem like she wanted to knock off. The website said you have an option to eat breakfast on your porch. The receptionist told us we will be eating on our porch on Saturday and with the other people on Sunday since we are not the only guests then anymore. We enquired if we could get any drinks and the receptionist said that they do not have a liquor license and directed us towards Mamelodi side where we can buy drinks and she said herself the place is "dodgy". I opened the bar fridge and there was two waters and a box of long life milk in it. It did not seem that they had any facilities on the premises and I don't know what we had to do about food. We asked for a refund of some sort but
