Urgent special needs not regarded

I have a son with special needs and need a very expensive diet for him to be able to thrive & basically stay healthy.
We have to apply every year - get motivational letters, etc. we applied over 2 months ago & have run out of his food over 2 weeks ago. The medical aid doesn't seem to actually care whether my son has food or not. Where another parent who's with discovery has no problem getting the expensive diet for their daughter...
they tell us it is still pending and that they can't reach dietician, who phoned me on the 28th after they have spoken to her.
