Charges for medicine due to the staff's negligence

My wife was admitted at Flora Clinic with her medicine prescribed by Dr. Bloy. She spend the night in the ICU, and the following morning we discovered that medicine to the value of R 2069.00 wasn't stored in the fridge. this meant that a new prescription was issued by Dr. Bloy as my wife couldn't use the medicine. Now they've got the cheek to bill me for take home medicine prescribed by Dr. Bloy. My medical fund doesn't cover this, and now this account was handed over to a debt collector. I request to speak with someone in Flora's account department, but until now, they haven't responded.
