Never have any bookings available

I recently was coerced into purchasing a Prokard and was told about all the "benefits" but what was omitted was that should the standard rooms not be available I would have to pay in extra. When ever I tried to book the rooms are ALWAYS not available. I was advised about the room upgrades and early check in/late check out but not about having to pay in extra. I sent an email to them requesting that due to them omitting this vital information and unavailability of accommodation I would like to cancel this card and request a full refund. Felicia, responded by pointing out to the terms and conditions! I feel that I have been robbed of my hard earned money as this card is of no benefit to me. How can I ever make use of it if there are never any bookings? I am so disgusted by them and will never use any Protea Hotel ever again. I hope that they are happy about all the people that the coerce into buying something that cannot be used. In this day and age I cannot believe that companies actually get away with this just by pointing to term and conditions. Also to note the terms and conditions do not say that you must pay in any extra amounts.
