UNAUTHORISED DEBIT TRANSACTION ON CREDIT CARD

After booking surfing & mtn bike rental with Downhill Adventures, my cr. card was debited in excess of agreed amt.by the 'office mgr' Janine (approx 100euro);was not informed of transaction until 48 hrs later when returned to the shop to rent bikes. Despite being in the shop 24 hours post transaction to go surfing, I was not advised of the debit until I returned the next day (despite seeing Janine on that same day ); Upon which time she informed me that she'd already debited my cr card for unauthorised bike rentals. She mentioned she had realised after we left on the first day - I questioned when she was going to inform us of this had we not returned?! She said this was an error on her part, undertaken due to 'many arrangements being agreed on the day, and it all got confusing'; however we left the shop without further business and requested the amount to be returned to my cr. card. She acted extremely unprofessionally and didn't attempt to rectify the situation through goodwill or any gesture. I'm now back 2 wks and this credit has not been returned to cr. card. I left msg with shop on her mobile - no response. I had to contact Owner Axel who is now looking into situation.
