Cleaners have more value than customers

On Monday, due to business, I was forced to stay over in Richards Bay. After checking the internet I decided on the Imvubu Lodge. Upon arrival I had to wait about an hour to check in. This as the clerk was busy doing a large booking for an SAPS training course. Although the clerk handled it well, surely management should have a better process for large groups.
The room itself was filthy, black dust on the floor, and Gecko feces on the the one knife and two fork provided.
When I ordered room service, the food arrived with no utensils, nor napkins
After changes with meeting the next day, I requested to check out about an hour later than the norm. The brochure clearly indicates that this possible, and all that is required is a request and a possible fee, with which I was happy.
After consulting the the clerk and Housekeeping manager, it was stated that this was impossible, as cleaners need more time to clean. Clearly the Housekeeping manager has made made his own policy and has disregarded the corporate values for the group by, firstly provided filthy units, and placing labour above guests.
Therefore the GM has failed in his management duties
