Know-it-all Receptionist

I was referred to Dr Lipschitz practice by my gynecologist on the 29th August for a mammography examination and scheduled my appointment on the same day. I could only get an appointment for the 6th Dec (4 months later).

The receptionist was rude and told me that I (36) was too young, they only do routine mammogram examinations from the age 40 and that Discovery would not pay for the consoltation because I'm too young (Discovery does pay).

Not knowing my medical or family history, the receptionist tried to per sway me that I was over reacting and that the examination was unnecessary.

This morning I received a text from them that the offices will be closed in December and I have to contact them to reschedule an appointment.
