Appalling service from Netcare Medical Scheme

I am disgusted with the lack of service and the unconcerned attitude I have received from various employees of Netcare medical scheme. I received pre-authorisation for a gastroscopy to be performed in the surgeons rooms in January 2013 and the account has not been settled to this date. I have been attempting to resolve this problem since May 2013. The doctor has now handed over my account. Each time I call my medical aid I am put through from one department to the next. No one has any answers and they cannot tell me why it hasn't been paid. I re-submitted my claims over 5 times as they have requested, to no avail. Everytime I call I am put on hold. When i request to speak to a supervisor I am put on hold indefinitely and no one ever comes to the phone even after holding on for 40 minutes. I am thoroughly appalled at the service and will quit the scheme as soon as they settle my account. I would like the public to be aware of this and not join this medical scheme. I am now reporting them to the medical aid ombudsman.
