Gloria Jean's Coffees
Would not accept my money

I recently visited Gloria jeans in Gateway and had the worst experience. I went to buy myself an Italian soda - was so thirsty and in a hurry, got to the cashier and paid with a R50 note. The cashier looked at my money as if was rubbish and tells me they no longer accept the old notes. In an utter shock I tell her that is all I have, she then tells me she will call her supervisor. At this stage I already wanted to lose my temper but I kept calm and waited until the supervisor came. When the supervisor arrives she tells me sorry if I do not pay with other money I cannot have my soda and then turns around and tells me yes the customer is always right after I told her it is such an embarrassment toward a customer. I then paid with other money and she then grabbed the money out of my hand and left while I was still talking to her. I am stunned at what bad service we get.
