Battle to get my Refund

Numerous agents have been spoken to (including 2 Managers) and every time I get a different story. My membership was terminated end March 2013. First I was told 5 months and 2 weeks. Then on 13 August I was told the cheque was posted and I asked that the cheque must be stopped and an EFT to be done. Then I had to submit my banking details which I e-mailed on 14 August. On 16 August I was told the cheque was stopped and the money will be in my account on Tuesday 20 August. Yesterday I was told by a "Manager" that the cheque was not stopped because they have not received the cheque number from the Bank. Please help me. The amount is only plus minus R2300, but I need the money. Last year I had the same scenario about a claim of R500 and in the end gave up because my phone bill was getting to that amount, but this time I am NOT giving up. I only want what is due to me. Is that too much to ask?
