Listed me at ITC without my knowlege

Afternoon.
In Jan '13 I left the company that I was working @ who were paying my medical aid @ that time, and then that lead to my medical aid been cancel.since then I hav been away from Joburg, when I came back this month am getting letters that I need to pay outstanding amounts of R1386, which I never knew anything about,

I did pay immediately last week, but I was told It was late. And my name has been listed. I never knew I owed you guys such amounts of money, if i had known I would have sorted this out immediately

how does this happen when no one ever called me on my cell to inform me of this. Am sure even if you search your records, you'll find that no called explaining this to me until a week ago when I called to find out, which was too late.
At all times I communicate with you over the phone/email, why start now sending important info of telling me I'll be listed via post. Not even an email was sent to me to inform me of such issues. On my usual email address, which is the email address you've always used to send me info and claim info.
