What are they doing there

We asked for quotation on a medical aid (07/07/2013). And was happy with what we were quoted (About R1800). After filling in all the forms. We were informed that we are now on there medical aid for R2616. When I phoned back to query about what is going on and why are we suddenly paying this much the lady could not give me an answer. The lady told me, its fine, I can cancel. But I still have to pay the R2616 this month even thou we did phone back and cancelled within 14days. Which we were told to do if we have any problems. So Medihelp is a big.
