Terrible Service- Waiting for URGENT pre-auth

I joined Spectramed 2 months ago with a clean bill of health. 2weeks later I began experiencing stomach pain. I have been treating it with meds but was advised by my Doctor to go for a Gastroscope to check on everything.

On Wedy 26 June I called Spectramed to find out what the Pre-Authorisation process was. I was told that I did not need to do anything in advance, that the DR performing the Gastroscope would send through all the details. After calling a DR to make an appointment the receptionist told me to call Spectramed first. I called and spoke to Fusoletso who told me I would be contacted back in 72 hours with the go ahead.

On Wed 3 July after not hearing back I called and spoke to Zazi who told me she would follow up with admin & that I should call back the next day to follow up with her. (WHY AM I FOLLOWING UP WITH THEM). A short while later I got a call from a Stephen who asked for my Dr's number- THE PROCESS HADNT EVEN STARTED!

This morning Thu 1 July I called again and was told that I NEEDED TO CALL MY DR and get him to send a form back to Spectramed. Upon calling him I found that he had not been contacted yet! It is now the day before the procedure & nothing is approved
