No access to MSA & not able to reduce my MSA cont

My MSA has nearly reached R32k and I have queried whether I could access or transfer at least a part of this because it has reached a point where it can fund my Self Payment Gap for the next 5-6 years or so.
Someone from Discovery phoned me to inform me that this is not possible. I then asked whether I could reduce my MSA monthly contribution and again was told that this was agreed upon when signing the contract so the only way of receiving the MSA was to cancel the Classic Comprehensive Plan and join another plan!
I find it difficult to understand that there is no flexibility from Discovery because 1) I don't want to change health plan and 2) it would mean that this MSA will sit in Discovery's account until I die while I have to declare the interest earned for tax
