NHLS is a disgrace

I received an account from them stating it had been submitted to medical aid for payment, heard nothing further... then 8 months later I get a SMS from Vericred that NHLS handed me over! I was never advised of an outstanding account? I checked with the doctors office who told me they'd never even received the results from NHLS! I then called Vericred (which they charged me for) to get more details and a copy of the account and the one they sent was full of duplicated tests that weren't in the invoice I'd received originally, it was more than 3x more.

I emailed Vericred (pathetic organization) asking for the NHLS details and laid out my queries asking that the account be referred back as this was highly improper, over a month later they responded basically saying "tough" and refusing to refer the account back. I also called NHLS who were going to have someone call me back but never have.

It's pathetic that no one even told me the account hadn't been paid by the medical aid, they say its your responsibility to check but they are the 'service' provider - where's the service! Where is the smallest bit of decency?
