EMPTY PROMISES

I ordered a take away at JB's corner in Melrose and asked the waiter to make sure that my food had no chilly as I was allergic to it. I was assured that there was no chilly and went home to eat. On opening the food, I found slices of jalepino everywhere and immediately called the restaurant and spoke to a manager. They asked for my details and promised to get back to me the next day.

As there was no feedback 48hrs later, I called to follow up. I was told to come in to get my order redone at anytime. I went back a few weeks later only to find staff that did not know what I was talking about. There was no record of my complaint and I was told that they do not keep records of complaints. After trying to explain the situation several times, I was made to feel as though I had come in to ask for a free meal with very little concern.

I received a call the next day to tell me that I can come in for a free burger.

If i wanted a burger I am sure that I would have made means of getting a burger, Please do not insult once loyal patronage with such offers if you will not keep your word.
