Great service from the Trauma team, ward 163 & 377

Last night my 16 year old younger brother was stabbed in the heart thus he was picked up by an ambulance approximately 45 minutes later. When he got to the Hospital they attended to him at the Trauma ward 163 on the 6th floor as he had to operate immediately. The operation went extremely well, he was stabilized & taken to trauma ward 377 on the 7th floor.

My brother was later transferred to the Milpark Hospital where he is currently & I am sure that they are taking good care of him as well.

I would like to thank the team involved in saving my brothers life. Dr. Mogabe & his team from the Trauma ward 163 on the 6th floor as well as the 2 male nurse on the 7th floor, Trauma ward 377. I only remember Zola Nkemkem. There were only two male nurses so he should know that I am referring to him as well.

As a public hospital, you provided us with a world class service & for that I thank you all from the bottom of my heart.
