THEY HAVE A MONOPOLY WHEN APPLYING FOR A VISA

I cannot believe that this is the only company that one can apply for a French Visa through. My colleagues and I are planning to go to France for a week in the middle of June. The only time we can get an appointment is on the 12th June. Their website doesn't work properly. No one answers their phones. This place is ridiculous! Once the phone was eventually answered, the lady was very rude and totally unhelpful. We have booked & paid for our air tickets & accommodation but can't get a meeting for a visa. Why is this company the only company that handles French visas? They are totally incompetent and unhelpful.
