Causing emotional damage to my child

MEDIHELP is refusing to pay for my 7yr old (who suffers from an anxiety disorder) to have oral surgery under anaesthetic. Their "RULE" is that all children over the age of 6yrs can have procedures under local anaesthetic?? Even though I have letters from the specialist, GP and therapist - THEY JUST DONT CARE. I will be approaching the regulating body of medical aid but I would like to warn other consumers out there.
