BE CAREFUL OF FOOD GIVEN IN THE WARDS AT GARDEN CI

My daughter was hospitalised at garden city clinic and on the 29th of April she was given yogurt
with an expiry date of 14th April. She got the yogurt at breakfast and at lunch. At lunchtime I was in the ward when she was given lunch and I immediately took the yogurt back to the ward hostess who took back the expired one and brought a fresh one for my daughter. I reported the incident to two nurses and and to three of the catering staff which one of the was the catering manager. An apology is all I could get. The catering manager was supposed to do an investigation as to how expired yogurts ended up in their fridges but i'm still waiting for feedback from her. This is just one incident regarding food at garden city hospital. This is just one of many complaints I have about that hospital. I'm still waiting for my R205 which i was supposed to be refunded, well thats another issue and another refund issue dated back to August 2012.
