UNETHICAL BUSINESS PRACTICES!

In november 2011 i submitted a dental expense claim to discovery health and was advised that they will not pay me back my expenses but would rather claw it back against an outstanding amount due since 2006. i was never informed nor contacted by discovery re any outstanding monies since 2006 so a claw back against my 2012 medical claim is totally unacceptable and unethical. in my opinion any oustanding money due is prescribed in 2012! i then escalated my matter to the council for medical schemes where discovery provided the very same explaination re my matter, so i requested documented proof from discovery indicating when they informed me of this outstanding amount in order for me to have made arrangement to repay same since 2006 as my msa has always been in the positive. I do not accept the approach nor the attitude that discovery health adopted re their recovery process of outstanding monies more specifically when 6 years have passed until they bring it to my attention and unanimously proceed to write it off against a medical claim in November 2012! truely unethical and unacceptable and in contradiction of treating the customer fairly!
