I dont understand why I pay so much towards medical aid on a monthly basis and constantly still have to pay upfront when I do need to use the service. I hardly use this medical aid, I am on a classic priority plan, and now that I need surgery there is an amount that I need to pay upfront!!! This is so frustrating, Ive spent time with the call centre agents but all I get is their policy and procedures thrown at me. So in essence if I did not have the money to pay upfront, I would then need to live with the pain and not go for surgery, that obviously defeats the point of having medical aid. This is now the 2nd time that I am being asked to pay such a large amount of money upfront. Absolutely disgusting
