IRATE over preauthorisation!

I have been calling Discovery helpdesk since 8h00, it is now 15h00.

I am trying to get preauthorisation for pregnancy. I have been on old for over 20 minutes now to what the consultant said was on of the preautorisation staff's direct line.

This kind of client service is disgusting. They do not even bother to retrieve the call to see if they can transfer you to another line.

Earlier i asked to speak to a manager, they once again put me on hold for over 10 minutes then very politely cut me off.

I emailed them asking for a consultant to get back to me, and the automatic reply states "your matter is being attended to and a consultant will get back to you within 2 - 3 days"

We are paying an arm and a leg to use this so called "FANTASTIC" medical aid, and this is the type of treatment we receive? I have never been so disgusted.
