Bad Services and treating elderly like

To whom it may concern my gran has been taken up at the folateng section of the JHB hospital last week Thursday. She is 86 years old and cant do much to help herself. We are quite concerned about the treatment that she is receiving at your hospital. When we get there we get her crying and want to come home all tough she is very ill. The staff there is bad mannered and not willing to assist or help her when she needs it. She has a tough time walking and when going to the bathroom she does not make it because of this the the nurses get upset with her and treat her badly. She cant fill in the food pamphlet that they need to give her so without asking they just give her toast to eat every day. When we got to the hospital she didn't't even have a bed side table and the water that was suppose to be drunk by her was at the foot of the bed with no glass it is very difficult for her to reach. No one is taking this seriously and the nurses complain when the other patients want to assist her. I will be taking this to the news paper and the medical aid as i feel this is really poor service and to treat an elderly this way i would hide my head in shame.
