Jellybean official Update release for Galaxy S2!!

It's April now. 8 months after the claimed release of Jellybean. Why is it taking so long for Jellybean to be released to us users with older generation phones? Can't you release the update to Galaxy S2 users in South Africa. I want to update my phone but the only people who seem to be making any real progress with the Jellybean update is the custom roms developers. Can you please just get a set date for release and stop delaying as ICS has a lot of bugs that was never fixed. We keep being told it's on its way yet it never arrives. I hope you can solve this problem soon as I am regretting going back to Samsung with each day that passes.
