No information on Jellybean release

Why are Samsung not giving us a release date for the Jellybean release for the Galaxy S2?? This software has been available worldwide for months now and South Africa, once again is lagging behind. Why are we always so late? I have come across numerous forums where people are asking for a release date and Samsung SA will not commit to anything. Why is it so difficult just to provide us with a date so that people can stop becoming so frustrated?? Samsung are really developing a bad reputation in SA for poor information and responses. For the first time I'm considering moving from Samsung for my next phone.
