I bought a blu-ray player which in beginning worked well playing blu-ray's as well as normal dvd's, so great.
Then i rented a new blu-ray from video shop which would not play, message came up on screen saying that the player needed to have software upgrade. I then went to the manual which describes the upgrade procedure, which was all fine. I followed the instructions and loaded everything on USB to then load onto the player. When I inserted the USB the machine said it could not read the info. I phoned the customer care center and explained the problem which they said i must bring in the machine and they would get their technicians to sort it out as i was having problems downloading the software from the Philips site. When i went in to take the machine to them they then changed their story saying i must pay this and that which i said was unreasonable as it is there site that cant download the correct software. Needless to say i left. A little while later a woman (i think a supervisor) phoned to check if i was happy with the service they gave, will not repeat what i said about them, she was very upset and said she would get a technician to assist me immediately. I am still waiting.
