Constantly replacing handles of Fridge and Freeze

Approximately five years ago, we bought the Bosch Fridge and Freezer combination.
The handles are made out of Plastic. Every few months they BREAK. We then have to replace them.
We normally replace them at least once every six months.
Most of the time, we do not even use the handles to open the doors, as we are so scared it might break again.
Every time we spend at least R500 to replace the two, twice a year it is R1 000. 5 x R1 000 = R5 000
Today my husband again had to go and buy new handles. The price increased from approxamitaly R500 last year to R915 for both. This is nearly a 50% increase.
Adding up to total spend on the handles the past few years of R6 000.
In the meantime Bosch never even attempted to strengthen these handles.
They did however changed the Fridges, and they now have different stronger handles.
I am also not the only one with this problem. We have quite a few friends that has been experiencing the same.
