Epair to sony tv

My tv was picked up on the 9th jan as it switched off randomly and was under extended warranty purchased at Game. I was never given a loaner and had to call in a week later after not getting any feedback on the status of my repair to ask for a loaner which was delivered a few days later. 3 weeks later I get no joy from this dealer, joyce and sagree promise to return calls but that never happens. I was told that they have monitored my tv and it never went off so they cannot fix the fault as it could be a number of things wrong with the tv. Now my question, instead of watching to see when it goes off for the month the tv was there could u not have opened it and checked the parts that could be the problem or is that too much work (like a call to the customer) absolutely disgusted!!!
