X-bytes Technologies
Of property given for repairs

Electronics and household app.

In June 2013, I saw several online adverts for X-bytes Technologies situated at 214 Louis Botha Avenue, Orange Grove, Johannesburg - 2192 and thought it was a legitimate electronics repair center. I took my Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, an Android 7.0 inch tablet and a Sony Xperia X10i phone all of which had minor faults there for repairs. The owner of the place by the name of Keith asked me for a deposit of R600 which I paid and to come a couple of days later to collect my gadgets and pay the balance. Seven months down the line, despite several attempts I have made, I have not been able to get back any of my gadgets. The owner of the business claims to me his workshop was burgled and my things were and promised to replace them. All the times I have gone there, I meet disgruntled customers with similar complaints. I have been made to understand that Keith collects peoples electronic equipment for repairs and send them to his country (Zimbabwe) to be sold and then gives the customers all sorts of excuses. PLEASE IF YOU SEE THIS COMPLAINT, DO NOT DEAL WITH X-BYTES TECHNOLOGIES, ORANGE GROOVE. The owner is a big and dupe.
