On Wednesday 08/01/2014 my mother ordered 2 Canon camera bundles to the value of R11 200 from Tech-Store [URL Removed]
The order (Tracking-1389207624) was supposed to have been delivered on 09/01/2014, but my mother was informed by the courier company (Xpert Movers), that she had to pay R3690-00 to have the parcel released from customs. According to Tech-Store, deliveries for orders over R9000 are free.
Upon querying this with Tech-Store, she was advised to pay the amount, which would be reimbursed to her, but on subsequent mails 4 smartphones (2 x Samsung Galaxy S4 & 2 x iPhone 5S) have also been included in the parcel. She was advised to keep the extra parcel and would be contacted again.
She has paid the above amount for customs and provided proof of payment.
The courier has just contacted her again, now demanding a further R2999-00 for handling fees before they will deliver. The contact person at Xpert Movers is "Micheal" with cell nr 0722917134 / email address [Email Removed]
When again trying to contact Tech-store, she was told they were closing and could not help her.
