Battery Failure

Bought a Galaxy S4, shutting down at random without warning (happened 5 times just today!!).
Cannot find a replacement battery from Samsung or its service agents anywhere in Pretoria.
Based on my initial experience with the phone I also bought the 2014 Galaxy Note 10.1 in December.
Samsung, do you realise how much damage you are doing yourselves?? According to information on the internet, yo were aware of the battery failure from very early in 2013, so you should have expected it to happened here too. Hence you should have recalled ALL S4's for a battery replacement. But no, you kept quiet!! Do you have no honour?
Am I just suppose to live with this problem till it suits you to get enough batteries into SA? And then phone and drive around ON MY COST to have your malfunctioning product replaced?
