DishSat Electronics - No Guarantee!!

DishSat Electronics supplied and installed a DSTV dish on 30 May 2013. They promise that all parts carry a manufacturers guarantee, yet when one of the lines on the LNB became faulty a few months later, they insisted on an additional call-out fee of R350 to replace the faulty part. they even tried to charge me for the part and then when they realised that wouldn't work, then they wanted to charge me another R350 for checking the faulty unit!?

We experienced similar issues when they installed the dish as they wanted to charge us more than what was quoted over the phone.

I begrudgingly paid the R350 call-out fee but will never use this company again. If you guarantee your service or products, then back up that guarantee! It's not an opportunity to extort additional revenue from your customers.
