Not getting feedback from Samsung

Electronics and household app.

My wife and I purchased two Samsung Galaxy S4s a few months ago and where extremel happy with phones. After about a month and half, my phone started getting very hot and also losing battery power very quick, even with all battery draining features turned off, it would shut down at 40%. I purchased a new battery for R400 from a cellphone shop in Knysna and phone was then fine. We have each done necessary undates with no problems. About 2 weeks ago we both did the 4.3 udate and now experiencing problems. Our S-beam is not working, my gps navigation has just disapeared and phone running alot slower than before on both handsets.
Last week my wifes battery also started depleating quickly. As with mine, if you put the battery on flat surface, you can see that it is completely warped..no battery should do that. We purchased a new battery for her phone today and also googled these issues only to find that Samsung are aware of these problems, just very funny that after several emails explaining our situation, no response from them. We purchased our phone through Telkom direct and unfortunately they are so clueless so pointless us approaching them about it..pathetic from Samsung
