Don't go for Sony Xperia Z

I took out a contract with Cell C via Vitality Mobile. I ported my number from Vodcom. The phone I took was a Sony Xperia Z. Apparently this phone is waterproof and Sony boasts how strong it is - that it is shock proof and dust proof and all that.
A month later my phone cracks. How? I'm not sure. Vitality mobile said I must take it to Cell C and I did. When I went there the guy told me that the damage is not covered by Sony. He told me that I will have to wait a month to get a quote. That I will have to pay for it myself. I took the phone somewhere else and had to fork out R2500 to get it fixed. I am really pisssed off.

Samsung on the other hand doesn't boast about how their phone is waterproof and shock proof like Sony does but they offer guarantees if your S4 breaks or gets damaged by water. This really. Don't ever go Sony. Sony is a piece of. Unfortunately I'm stuck with this piece of, whic after getting repaired doesn't have good signal anymore.
