Endless wait for response re availability of parts

Electronics and household app.

The charger for my Samsung Laptop. Model NP530U3B-A01ZA is damaged. On the 1st of September, I went into the Samsung store in Cresta and requested the part and was referred to the centre in Weltevreden Park. On the phone i was told they would check the part and get back to me. They never responded. The next weekend I went in to the service centre 7/8 September and spoke to a manager there who told me the part was arriving in the next week. He assured me I would be contacted as to when the part was available.
In the week of the 15th I again contacted that service centre to be told that the part was out of stock. There was no indication of when it would arrive. I have still had no feedback from Samsung regarding the expected wait or possibility of replacing the charger. I am extremely frustrated that such a significant part can be unavailble for an extended period of time and the lack of feedback from Samsung.
