DO NOT BUY ANY PHILIPS PRODUCTS!

Let's get a petition going to sabotage the buying of Philips products and also prevent Skymark from making any business! Our Philips TV blew one night while watching a programme, and no there was no lighting. And because our home theatre system was connected to the TV and on standby this also blew!?! How is this possible you ask, well we were asking the same thing. We took our appliances to Philips/Skymark for repairs. When the quotes came eventually they were sky high, we could've bought new appliances! We queried this and waited 2 months for an answer and only got an answer when we queried again! Bennie told us that he will phone us back and re-look the quotes, another few weeks went buy with no response! We contacted head office and Bobby who was supposed to assist us only made the matter worse. We eventually collected our appliances and will now be dumping them because the value of a broken Philips TV is only R80.00 that's IF SOMEONE wants it! We will now be switching over to SAMSUNG as this is a much better product. Shocking service from both Skymark and Philips to say the least! Please don't buy Philips. Go look at all their complaints on Hellopeter, it's shocking!
