Shameful Pricing

I wished to purchase an IPhone 5 mobile instrument as mine was. I went to the store and saw the price for a 16 gig instrument was R8200.00 I approached insurance (company) who agreed to pay the amount less the excess. I went into purchase the instrument today and was told that the price is now over 9000.00 and that the advertised price was incorrect. The sales person then removed the price tag and kept asking where is my insurance quote. Apart from the fact that he was extremely rude and arrogant stating continually that I should have a quote to which I responded that I did have one from Vodacom at R 9100.00, I explained that the insurance company had paid for an instrument at R8200.00 as I had seen that price quoted. In my wish to ensure that the price was the best I basically sorted myself out.

It is wrong to quote a price and then to remove it (the price ad) from the shelf when you come in to purchase. In fact it is a disgrace and the store did nothing to try an alleviate their mistake. `if this is their attitude then my custom is sure going else where.
