We purchased a Samsung washing machine in October 2012. In June 2013 it developed a problem with the pump cycle. The water was not pumping out. We contacted Makro who sold us the machine. They then reported the problem to Samsung who then called us on the same day to find out the details of the problem. Unfortunately it was a Friday and they undertook to send a technician to our house on the Monday.

The technician arrived on the Monday and found the filter was blocked (when you buy a new appliance READ THE MANUAL). He then ran the machine through the full cycle and it worked. He advised us also to reduce the height of the outlet pipe as this could also reduce the efficiency of the pump.

The following day we received a call from Samsung to enquire whether we were happy with the service. Thank you Samsung for prompt and professional service.
