IPHONE NO SERVICE -NO SOLUTION

I have an IPHONE 5 which constantly refelcts as NO SERVICE,
i have taken the phone to MTN and they have replaced the phone and sim card after a number of visits,
i have the same problem with the new phone, i have confirmed with at leas 5 people that this is a common fault, yet IPHONE will not rectify,
MTN says i must book the phone in agian, and will probally end up changing the phone, but i dont think it will solve the problem
