Galaxy S4 does NOT deliver on grandiose promises

Electronics and household app.

After being enticed in by its clever marketing campaign surrounding the launch (Saturday), I went out the following Monday to purchase the amazing new Galaxy S4. I enjoyed the phone for the first month and suddenly noticed a scratch on the screen which within 2 weeks had spread across the phone screen rendering the phone unusable - I could not read the screen and the phone would either freeze or switch between apps. I was relieved that I had registered for the screen warranty upon purchasing the device. When I called Samsung in an attempt to book my phone in for repair, I was told that I could do so within 1 week as they did not have stock of parts. After 2 weeks of constant calling they still did not have stock. At a loss and no other alternatives available I finally booked my phone in on 18 June in order to secure the first part that came in for the repair of my phone. Today is 5 July and I have not received any feedback on my repair job. As a result, I have only been able to use this amazing new phone with all the promise for the first month of my purchase (May - early June). I am very disappointed with the lack of service delivery and accountability.
