Furious - Samsung Screen Cracks By Itself!!!

Yesterday 12 June, half an hour after using my phone, I take it out of my pocket only to notice the screen is cracked right through. The phone has never been dropped and handled with extreme care always. Is this the quality of Samsung products? Your advertising suggests otherwise. I spoke to Sipho a call center agent and was advised to take it to the care center in Riverhorse Valley. They took one look and said it was impact damaged and a new screen will cost - R 2500. Ridiculous! I ain't got the bucks nor time for this. What they describe as the point of impact is actually a point of a flaw on the screen from which the crack started then spread! I have done the research, numerous reports exist regarding similar incidents, just google it. Phone received in Feb and now new S4 has screen warranty. Why not the older models, the phone is virtually brand new and now faulty as well. How can you sell a product if aware that the screens will eventually crack. Being an IT consultant, I have convinced 100 persons to buy Samsung opposed to apple. I guess that will have to stop and I will be adding a long article based on this experience to my blog. I will publicise this unless resolved.
