So what now? My mother-in-laws tv worked fine then suddenly just more than a year old it shows no picture and has no sound, despite the indicator light showing the tv is no longer in standby. We have repeatedly taken it in to Xecutronix who have refused to collect from my mother in law's place, they have demonstrated it works in their lab and each time we've plugged it in at mother-in-law's its a blank screen again. I have had my intelligence questioned by the technician, asked if I plugged it in, switched it on etc, well this fool unplugged the LG that doesn't work, plugged in the Samsung borrowed from my daugter in exactly the same manner and hey presto, picture, Samsung 1 and LG 0. Come on now, really in the age where service is the great differentiator, you can't be bothered to send out a technician?
