Rude, unhelpful and in contravention of CPA

I own a unit in a complex in Sandton. The complex has an exclusive arrangement with Elsat to provide its DSTV dishes and cabling, which I pay for as part of my monthly levy. But my new tenant wants PVR, which none of the previous tenants have had, and so I engaged with Elsat to have an extra cable installed. They offered the option of a once-off payment of R972, which I paid, as opposed to R80/month, and sent me pages and pages of forms to complete. I completed them in full and omitted the contract section because the amount had been paid in full upfront. Now, after a rude email from Jennifer and paragraphs of inexplicable instructions, Elsat appears to be refusing to install my cable, which I've paid for, unless I sign a 60-month contract for R80 a month and then cancel it. This can't be legal, surely? I intend to have my lawyer find out. Elsat, you can't just do whatever you want. And Jennifer needs a service lesson.
